SARA HARPER JEWELLERY

I especially love recycling the sea-glass from our beaches in the North East - it has a mysterious past and might have travelled hundreds of miles before landing here.
ABOUT
SARA HARPER
JEWELLERY
I started Sara Harper Jewellery five years ago after completing an HND in art and design and a course of night classes at Grays school of art. I make up my handcrafted designs in my workshop in the North East of Scotland using a range of silver sheet and wire. I use a range of hammered textures, cuttlefish casting, rolled collages and bezel stone setting with semi-precious stones and sea-glass.
The inspiration for my designs comes from the natural beauty of Scotland.

Sea glass is beautifully tumbled by the natural motion of the tides and I like the calm feeling I get from forming the silver settings around the wonderful shapes of the glass.
